The SOS Inflatable Rescue 33 Dan Buoy is a compact, highly effective man overboard (MOB) rescue device designed for rapid deployment and maximum visibility. Lightweight and portable, it is stored in a small carry valise and can be quickly thrown into the water without any setup.
Upon immersion, the buoy automatically inflates within seconds using a CO₂ system, rising to approximately 2 metres above the waterline. Its fluorescent colour, SOLAS-approved reflective tape, and automatic light ensure excellent visibility both day and night—up to distances of 1,700 metres.
