The Sowester 180N Pro HRU is a professional worker's lifejacket designed for constant wear in the commercial marine and industrial sectors. Featuring a wipe clean cover for work in grimy environments and a HRU inflators which largely protect from accidental activation when from water operating in high splash zones

This lifejacket is approved to accept a 406Mhz PLB or AIS Personal Beacon 

HRU - Hydrostatic Release Inflator

Unlike water-sensitive automatic inflators on lifejackets, HRUs require submersion to a specific pressure to activate, which substantially reduces the risk of false deployment from wave spray and rain. The Visual inspection window clearly shows the status and readiness of your lifejacket before wearing .
